MISSION

 

The mission of Hollywood West Entertainment is to develop and produce high quality films with strong stories, but also to provide employment for diversified film industry professionals in Hollywood and on location in other states and overseas. Priority focus is given to all genders and ethnic groups as directors, line producers, production crews and actors. Most of the productions have strong female leading roles.

Past Productions  include "Grizzly Adams and the Legend of Dark Mountain," "Just Before Dawn," "Lovely But Deadly," "The Evil," "The Manitou," "Day of the Animals," "Project: Kill", "Grizzly," "Sheba, Baby", "Abby,"  "Grizzly 2: Revenge," "Lady Samurai," and "Devil Times Five."

At the box-office worldwide, "Grizzly" grossed 52 times the cost of the production and, as listed in Variety, it was the top-grossing independent movie of the year. It broke box-office records in Japan and Germany with worldwide distribution by Columbia Pictures, and earned a 14 share on prime time network television (ABC).  Adjusted to current numbers, the production cost only       $3 million, and grossed  $156 million worldwide.
